My New Shoes! :D

My new shoes for fun driving and comfortable walking. Foot Locker couldn’t get me the Busenitz I wanted, so I got the next best thing. They’re Adidas Veritas Mid in black. And I got them on sale for 50% off!!

And they have this extremely comfortable memory foam insoles that make these simply the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting on my feet! And the feel is fantastic, like an extension of my feet!

And they fit better than my last pair, which was a poor choice of Adidas to wear daily for the most part. I can’t wait to get them on and start walking around! :)

Are those marketed as driving shoes? Most driving shoes I’ve seen have a little grip on the back of the heal and pretty thin soles.

Nope! I just needed shoes to enhance my driving experience in general over my last pair of shoes I was using, without compromising on overall daily comfort.

I love sneakers.

When I was in 7th grade I had a pair of Airwalks (back before they became a Walmart or Target or Payless or whatever it is bargain brand).

This kid called me a poser for wearing Airwalks. It was a big deal when I was in middle school that you had to justify your wearing of skate shoes by actually being a skater. I had rollerblades, but I didn’t skateboard, so this kid tried to call me a poser.

I was like, THIS SHALL NOT STAND, I WILL NOT TOLERATE BEING CALLED A POSER WITHOUT GETTING THIS KID BACK, FUCK THIS DUDE FOR CALLING ME A POSER!

He was wearing some Nike turf shoes, so I asked him if he was a football player. He said no.

WELL IF YOU’RE WEARING FOOTBALL SHOES WHEN YOU’RE NOT A FOOTBALL PLAYER THEN YOU’RE A POSER!

I showed him.

I thought that as well, and they do look like it on the outside. BUT, the inside dips in about what feels like a 1/4” up front, so my feet feel more grounded to the ground than ever!

When they came out in ‘94 they blew people’s minds. THEY DON’T HAVE LACES, YOU PUMP THEM UP TO LACE THEM! THEY HAVE A WHOLE PART OF THE BOTTOM MISSING, IT’S CARBON FIBER WHICH IS AS STRONG AS STEEL BUT SUPER LIGHT. OOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGG
